The conference theme was Global Co-operation in Emergency and Disaster Management.

A special feature this year was a simulation exercise that took place during the conference on the second wave of an influenza pandemic. All participants were invited to participate and for those who wanted to participate was prepared Introduction to the Influenza Pandemic Simulation. The simulation has been concluded at the end of the conference and evaluated at the conference dinner on Thursday, June 19.

Experts from all over the world took part in this conference - there were about 75 presentations from 31 countries.
